The Buffalo Bills knocked off the Green Bay Packers by the score of 27-17, but the team might have lost one of its most important players in the process.

Bills safety Jordan Poyer left the game after suffering an elbow injury in the second half. It’s a concerning development for Buffalo, especially considering how banged up their secondary has been all season.

After the win, reporters caught up with Poyer to ask about his elbow.

“It felt like a pop, really. We’ll see what the MRI says tomorrow,” said Poyer. “It’s been kind of a frustrating year for me as far as a couple setbacks.”

Poyer dealt with an elbow injury in training camp, but he mentioned that this incident is not related.

Poyer was named as an All-Pro in 2021, but injuries have forced him to miss three games this season. When he’s on the field Buffalo’s defense thrives. He has four interceptions in as many games, which leads the NFL.

The win is certainly worthy of a celebration, but Bills Mafia is holding its collective breath for a positive result on Poyer’s MRI scheduled to take place Monday.
