The Buffalo Bills got Josh Allen yet another weapon. Brandon Beane and Sean McDermott traded up with the Jacksonville Jaguars to take the 25th overall pick. With their selection, Buffalo brought in Utah TE Dalton Kincaid.

Kincaid is a glorified wide receiver, as Mel Kiper indicated during draft coverage. The big-bodied tight end will look to make an immediate impact on the roster. Immediately after the pick, Brandon Beane opened up on the selection.

Leaving no doubt, Beane dispelled any type of rumor regarding the pick. The Bills GM discussed that the run of receivers didn't impact his decision to grab Kincaid. Rather, they wanted to move ahead of the Dallas Cowboys who he had thought would take the tight end.

Beane ignited the fan base by discussing what Kincaid brings to the table. Kincaid, as Beane had discussed, is so much more than just a typical tight end. In fact, some analysts were saying that Kincaid wasn't only the best tight end in the draft but had the best hands overall.

When discussing what the team is going to do with Kincaid, Beane was direct and forthcoming to the Bills Mafia. The general manager highlighted that Kincaid has elite hands on top of being a good route runner. Hilariously, Beane talked about how the new tight end would extend the field and wouldn't be playing like your traditional tight end. To further his point Beane poked fun and suggested Ken Dorsey will be running 11.5 personnel sets instead of 12 personnel sets.

Beane seems to have a good pulse on the fanbase and was discussing what Kincaid would bring from an offensive standpoint, something fans have been clamoring for: more weapons.

While there is uncertainty about what this may mean for Dawson Knox, getting Josh Allen another dominant weapon is a net positive. Kincaid will look to make an immediate impact on the team and could be the slot weapon Bills Mafia has been clamoring for.

Football season can't start soon enough.
