The Buffalo Bills wasted no time bringing in a potential replacement for Nyheim Hines. Immediately after the news broke that Hines would be out for the season after a jet ski incident, Buffalo got to work.

Within hours, it was reported that Buffalo brought in a slew of RBs in hopes to fill the void that Hines left behind in both the passing game and the KR/PR game. Aaron Wilson helped break the news that Buffalo is expected to add Darrynton Evans to the roster.

Evans, as we reported earlier, is a former Tennessee Titans third-round pick. Evans, in two seasons with the Titans, finished with 16 carries for 61 yards and four receptions for 38 yards. Evans has a history of returning kicks and could be a big reason why the team is deciding to bring him in. The talented RB has 10 kickoff returns for 223 yards.

After playing with the Titans, Evans was released and picked up by the Chicago Bears. In Chicago, Evans only had 14 attempts for 64 yards on the ground to go along with one catch for 33 yards and no kick or punt returns with the team.

In Buffalo, Evans will look to compete with the likes of Deonte Harty and Micah Hyde for the starting KR/PR position. The already crowded running back room, despite Hines' injury, just got even more busy with Evans' addition.

Evans joins James Cook, Damien Harris, Latavius Murray, and Jordan Mims as camp is set to begin in the coming days.
