The rumors were true. All of them. Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen will be front and center on the cover of the iconic Madden NFL video game franchise. He's the first Bills player ever to receive such an honor.

Allen's appearance on the cover is certainly unsurprising considering he's established himself as one of the best passers in the entire league. He leads one of the most productive offenses in football and in a chaotic yet beautiful way, the Bills' is one of the most video game-like attacks in the NFL.

I mean, think about it. Not only is Allen putting up what people call "video game numbers" every season but he's doing so constantly escaping from pressure and throwing deep shots while playing the NFL equivalent of backyard football.

At times, it's exactly what has been criticized about the Bills offense because when things go wrong, it can be extremely costly for the team. When things go right, however, it indeed looks like some Madden heroics.

Now, as excited as we are about the cover of Madden 24 being the Bills quarterback, let's face it…

The best thing about the Madden 24 Cover isn't Josh Allen

Sorry, Josh. I know you called it a "childhood dream come true." But Madden 24 also revealed the cover for the Deluxe Edition and look at who's sharing the stage with the elite quarterback: Bills Mafia.

Talk about a tip of the hat from EA Sports. It's no secret that Bills fans are widely acknowledged as one of the best fanbases in the sport, if not the very best.

Whether it's a standing ovation to support Scott Norwood in the aftermath of "Wide Right" or making donations to Andy Dalton's charity in 2017, they're awesome people. To see this nod of respect that we hadn't seen before for any other team is really special.

This is a Josh Allen achievement, sure. But to see Bills Mafia receive this under-the-radar honor is absolutely fantastic.
