The Buffalo Bills franchise QB, Josh Allen, has had quite an incredible offseason. He's quickly become a household name and has become the first Bills player in franchise history to be on the cover of Madden.
Now, after a successful first season of Netflix's documentary "Quarterback" there are rumors swirling of who could be a part of the next season. Not surprisingly, Allen's name has been thrown around as a participant.
"I haven't watched it yet," Allen told reporters on Thursday. "I talked to Pat (Mahomes) a little bit about it. I think it's a really cool concept to have everything documented especially as a quarterback is very cool."
"But at the same time I don't want any outside distractions, any unnecessary distractions, and I'm not saying it would be," Allen added. "I'm a little undecided on whether I want to do it or not."
Netflix must understand how die-hard of a fanbase the Bills Mafia is. The devout fanbase, despite being in a small market, always tunes in and shows out for their team. In fact, the fanbase in consecutive years was awarded the best fanbase in football in a Fox Sports poll.
Getting an inside look at Allen would be a dream for the fanbase who can't seem to get enough of their superstar QB. From watching him play golf, joining Barstool Sports for some interviews, and his electric postgame interviews, Allen is captivating.
Selfishly, we're hoping Allen gets to join so we can see some of the inner workings of his professional and personal life, shedding completely new light on a man so beloved by so many.
Hopefully, Mahomes encouraged him to take part in the show. We, much like the rest of the Bills Mafia, can't get enough of the superstar QB.
