The Buffalo Bills have found a unicorn in Josh Allen.

The sometimes larger-than-life franchise quarterback won the hearts of the Bills Mafia almost immediately upon entering the league. In fact, in Allen's first preseason game in Western New York, on his first pass attempt, the entire crowd went bonkers.

Allen dropped back and threw a nearly 60-yard pass that sailed out of bounds. However, if you were just listening to the fans you would have thought he had thrown the game-winning touchdown in a playoff game.

Plain and simple, Josh Allen is the quarterback the Bills Mafia has been waiting for.

However, Allen needs help. The offensive line and weapons outside of a few key players have let down Josh Allen on more occasions than the fanbase would like to admit. Their subpar play last year put Allen in a difficult position more times than not. Yes, Allen will routinely escape the pocket and put himself in danger by not sliding or trying to be ultra-competitive by stiff-arming a linebacker in the middle of the field. Or, he will try to fit in a pass downfield with three defenders draped across the reciever. And, Ken Dorsey has done a less-than-stellar job with downfield routes that aren't a simple streak route, forcing players to be far more boom or bust than they need to be. Regardless, the team needs to protect Allen and equip the franchise cornerstone with weapons.

In a recent NFL report, Adam Schein highlighted a number of star players who need help in the 2023 draft.

Number one on that list? Josh Allen.

It appears that the Bills Mafia aren't the only ones that notice the franchise quarterback needs help.

Even more, Brandon Beane opened up on Allen and his one-man-wrecking-crew-type mentality a few weeks ago with Sirius XM Radio. Beane highlighted that Allen needs to take better care of himself while also addressing that the team needs to take better care of Allen as well.

Schein, when placing Allen in the number one spot, highlighted the notion that Hall-of-Fame quarterback Jim Kelly shared not too long ago: "Josh can't do everything by himself."

In his article, Schein discussed Buffalo going all-in on one of the very best the draft has to offer, Bijan Robinson. The motive behind the decision was the assumption that Beane wanted to draft Travis Etienne a few years ago before Urban Meyer swooped in and picked him up for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

A top-tier, next-level running back could take this already-talented Bills offense to the next level and give Allen another dominant option on offense. A combination of Cook-Robinson-Hines would be a nightmare matchup for any opposing defenses.

While there are plenty of holes on the roster, grabbing an offensive playmaker like Robinson would do exactly what Schein highlighted in his article: provide an influx of talent to maximize Allen's own greatness and give a boost to the Buffalo Bills.

With the draft rapidly approaching, we can't wait to see what Brandon Beane has up his sleeve.
