The Buffalo Bills hit the jackpot when they drafted Josh Allen.
Finally, after decades of waiting, the Bills Mafia has their franchise quarterback. The linebacker-hurdling, cornerback-stiff-arming, gritty quarterback has quickly made a name for himself in Buffalo and across the NFL.
Bills Mafia will attest that there are few things not to like about Josh Allen. Additionally, there's plenty that separates him in the upper echelon of quarterbacks across the entire NFL.
Now, it appears we have a little more insight into what makes Josh Allen so special. Bills Offensive Coordinator Ken Dorsey opened up on the franchise quarterback and gave fans quite an incredible soundbite.
Dorsey discussed the contrast between Josh Allen's earlier career, and where he is now in his progression. Specifically, when talking about how Allen overcomes turnovers mentally. Dorsey commented, "early on in his career when he would have something like that happen it's like, you feel that it affects him" speaking directly on Allen's turnover woes as of late.
The Offensive Coordinator followed up with what makes the franchise quarterback so special, how you can never rule the Bills out because of Josh Allen. "Josh has that ability to, no matter what happened in the course of the game, still be at his best when we need him."
The Buffalo Bills and Bills Mafia will live and die by Josh Allen on the football field. The big-armed quarterback takes risks, isn't afraid to get hit, and sometimes the hero ball can bite him with turnovers.
Regardless, the Bills are set up for long-term success with arguably one of the very best quarterbacks in the NFL. Each and every week it seems there's yet another NFL record broken by the Bills franchise quarterback, despite his turnovers.
Turnovers may always be a concern, but if Josh Allen were to bring the Lombardi trophy to Buffalo, his entire legacy would change.
Allen has been incredibly vocal about what the parade would be like in Buffalo. Now, all that's left to do is win the whole dang thing.
