The Buffalo Bills have lost veteran RB Nyheim Hines for the season.
With camp set to begin, Buffalo lost a key piece to their offense as Hines was going to primarily be the team's KR and PR. Outside of that, Hines' pass-catching abilities were a match made in heaven for Josh Allen.
Now, it appears that we have received even more information on exactly what went down and how Hines sustained the injury.
Reportedly, Hines suffered the injury while stationary on a jet ski. Hines was struck by another rider which will require him to get surgery and will miss the 2023 season. Hines had been acquired by the organization at the trade deadline last fall and was part of one of the most emotional moments in team history.
With Hines missing the season, he very well may have played his last snap as a member of the Buffalo Bills. Hines was brought back by the organization this offseason on a reworked one-year deal.
Bills RB Nyheim Hines expected to miss the entire 2023 NFL season
The Buffalo Bills weapon that authored one of the most iconic moments of last season suffered a “significant” injury ahead of training camp.
