The Buffalo Bills offense might be working through some flaws but make no mistake about it. Josh Allen still leads one of the most high-powered offenses in the league.
Not only does it count with NFL star Stefon Diggs and playoff machine Gabe Davis but now tight end Dawson Knox is one of the hottest players on the Bills.
Knox recorded a touchdown reception during last weekend's win over the Miami Dolphins. Not only did it prove enormously valuable on a three-point win but it put the Bills tight end on track for history.
That was his fifth-consecutive game with a TD catch, going back to Week 14.
Per NFL Communications, he can become the third TE in NFL history with a touchdown reception in six consecutive games within a single season, including the playoffs.
Who are the only other two to do so? Oh, you probably know them. And if not you'll get to hear about them when their inevitable Hall of Fame induction ceremonies come around.
Rob Gronkowski (2011 and 2014) and Travis Kelce (2020 and 2021).
It will be a big challenge for Dawson Knox to have a big day for the Bills as the Bengals are quite good at defending tight ends. In fact, they're top 5 against them per DVOA.
They've got a very talented set of safeties in Jessie Bates and Vonn Bell and one of the most underrated linebacker duos in the NFL led by Germaine Pratt and Logan Wilson.
A tip of the hat to Dawson is in order.
The Bills tight end has dealt with the loss of his brother all season long and that probably hasn't gotten much easier.
What he's fighting through is unimaginable but he sure is leaving it all on the playing field. And the Bills Mafia surely should appreciate all of it.
