With the season officially halfway done, now it's time for us to look back at the first half of the Buffalo Bills season. We're going to be doing a series of mid-season articles that will talk about both the good and the bad of this year so far. Here's what we have discussed so far:

Now is the fun part as we will dive into 3 bold predictions for the remainder of the season. With the ultimate goal of winning the city's first-ever Super Bowl, we're hoping that at least one of these comes true.

The Buffalo Bills will win the AFC East

At the time of writing the Buffalo Bills have yet to take on the Cincinnati Bengals and currently sit second in the division behind the Miami Dolphins. Miami has been improving year in and year out and despite the narrative that they can't beat good teams, they are currently winning the division.

Not so fast, though, as our first bold prediction is that the Buffalo Bills are going to go on a tear to end the season and clinch their fourth-consecutive AFC East crown. Ken Dorsey is going to continue to make improvements, the defense is going to find its footing with the new acquisitions of Linval Joseph and Rasul Douglas, and they are going to make a strong push to not only win the division but challenge the Chiefs the number one seed in the entire AFC.

Josh Allen will win MVP

Allen has had an up-and-down 2023-2024 campaign with a nagging shoulder injury getting in the way. Not that we're making excuses, but you can tell Allen isn't himself. Part of the reason that the national media has soured a little on Allen is from the lack of efficiency on offense over the past few weeks.

Despite that, Allen was still number one in the entire NFL in completion percentage before the Bengals game, a feat that no one would've assumed he would accomplish after his draft profile talked about how accuracy isn't something you can correct at the professional level, another way Allen has silenced the critics throughout his impressive NFL career.

Outside of a Super Bowl, Allen has been in talks to win MVP but hasn't been able to win that prestigious trophy. Our second bold prediction is that in the second half of the season, Josh Allen goes on an absolute tear and winds up winning the MVP. He already landed on the cover of Madden, adding a nice little MVP trophy to his collection.

While the goal is to still win a Super Bowl, we'd never be upset to see a Buffalo Bills QB hoist the MVP trophy once the season has concluded.

Dalton Kincaid will finish the year strong and earn some OROY votes

Kincaid has had a slow start to his NFL career, which is expected. We can't look at the likes of Detriot Lions TE Sam LaPorta to be the norm when looking at young players in the league, especially tight ends.

This leads us to our third and final bold prediction for the rest of this season. Allen has found Kincaid over the previous two matchups at a much higher clip than before. Because of that, we have faith that this is a trend that's going to continue and Kincaid will prove to be a security blanket for the franchise QB.

The rookie TE is going to shatter his projections for the rest of the season. So much so that he's going to wind up being in the conversation for offensive rookie of the year and give fans an insurmountable amount of hope for his future with the organization.

Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen

Bills’ biggest need at midseason

The Buffalo Bills are going to continue to rely on Josh Allen to get them out of some tough spots. Here are 2 things the offense should do in the second half of the NFL season.
