Rumors have been swirling this weekend that Buffalo Bills quarterbacks coach Joe Brady was set to accept a job as the Oregon Ducks' offensive coordinator.

Those rumors, however, aren't accurate.

The Athletic's Bruce Feldman reported on Sunday that Brady told him the rumors aren't true.

I would've bet on the rumors being false.

Brady spent a year at LSU as the Tigers' passing game coordinator before quickly returning to the NFL. It seems obvious that he's an "NFL guy".

I expect Brady to have several offensive coordinator offers from NFL teams in the offseason. If current Bills offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey gets a head coaching job, it would make sense for Brady to get a promotion.

Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan could also get some head coaching offers this offseason. If that happens, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Brady replace Callahan in Cincy. A reunion with Joe Burrow would tempting for the Bengals and for Brady.

I don't think Brady is a lock to return to Buffalo next season, but if he doesn't, it won't be because he went back to the college game.
