One of them is wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase who has racked up over 2,500 yards, 22 touchdowns, earned a second-team All-Pro selection, and multiple Pro Bowl nods in two seasons.
His quarterback, Joe Burrow, has a case to be the best in the game at what he does. However, Chase has taken it a step further recently by calling him the best player in the entire NFL.
Burrow had a rough start to his career as he suffered a torn ACL/MCL as a rookie. Since then, he's been an absolute beast with over 9,000 passing yards and 69 touchdown passes.
Many call Patrick Mahomes the best quarterback in the league, and understandably so with multiple league and Super Bowl MVPs. However, before last season's AFC Championship Game, Burrow got the best of Mahomes three consecutive times which included a conference title win on the Chiefs home field in 2021. Also, he's won head-to-head against Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen in the playoffs, another top-five signal-caller.
He's only played three seasons, but Burrow is currently the NFL's all-time leader in completion percentage (68.2).
Burrow is everything the Bengals wanted him to be when they drafted him No.1 overall in 2020.
