For the third year in a row, the Cincinnati Bengals' first primetime game of the season will be extra important for the franchise's greatest players.

The Bengals announced their third Ring of Honor induction ceremony will take place during the team's Week 3 Monday Night Football matchup, and Super Bowl LVI rematch, against the Los Angeles Rams on September 25.

This will be the team's third-ever Ring of Honor class. The first two inductions also occurred during home primetime games in September, which makes this particular week an obvious choice. It's early enough in the year for the nighttime weather to be great, and more national attention will be brought to the latest inductees.

Voting for the 2023 class concluded a month ago and featured 13 nominees:

  • Jim Breech
  • James Brooks
  • Cris Collinsworth
  • Corey Dillon
  • Boomer Esiason
  • David Fulcher
  • Chad Johnson
  • Tim Krumrie
  • Dave Lapham
  • Max Montoya
  • Lemar Parrish
  • Bob Trumpy
  • Reggie Williams

The Bengals' next class of inductees will be announced next week, per Cincinnati's WLWT.
