Cleveland Browns have a move awaiting them to be made thanks to some news around the Los Angeles Rams.

The Rams are signing K Lucas Havrisik from the Browns’ practice squad. Los Angeles cut K Brett Maher after he missed three kicks in Week 7’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Cleveland added Havrisik to their practice squad to start the season and has not elevated him for a game yet. Cleveland’s kicker position feels as solidified as it has since Phil Dawson kicked on the lake. Of course that can change at any time, but Dustin Hopkins is setting records for the time being.

Havrisik went to Cleveland after being on the Indianapolis Colts preseason roster. The Arizona product spent the 2022 season on the Colts’ prescience squad with special teams coach Bubba Ventrone, who now leads Cleveland’s unit.

Los Angeles needed an obvious change at kicker and they’re taking a chance on a young kicker with some potential upside.

Cleveland now has a chance to pick up another player on the practice squad. With an injury at running back, that’s very well the route the Browns could take.
