The NFL crew at A to Z Sports put together their own Top 105 NFL Players list, though only those who rank 66-105 have been released for now.

The Dallas Cowboys have had two players fall on the list so far.

Offensive lineman Tyler Smith popped up on the list first at No. 84.

That's no surprise considering Smith has been a constant bright spot for Dallas since he made the switch from playing tackle to guard.

A to Z Sports emphasizes that Smith has no problem shutting down some of the best defenders in the league:

Tyler Smith was a second-team All-Pro because of his dominance against top tier competition. He handled the likes of Aaron Donald and Jalen Carter, among other top DTs in the NFL. He played decently at left tackle as a rookie but found his true home at guard, where his nasty and violent style of blocking thrives. – Mauricio Rodriguez, A to Z Dallas

Cornerback Trevon Diggs followed Smith at No. 103.

Just like Smith, Diggs gets points for being another consistent player for the Cowboys.

An ACL injury set Diggs back last fall, which ultimately affected where he landed on this list, but there's no doubt he can bounce back to normal form in 2024:

Trevon Diggs graduated from being a high-stakes gambler with boom or bust tendencies in 2021 as a cornerback to being one of the best cover defenders in the entire league, often asked to play man coverage by Dan Quinn the last few years.

Coming off an ACL injury in 2023 raises some question marks but if he gets back to his 2022 form, he’s one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL. – Mauricio Rodriguez, A to Z Sports Dallas

We'll see if the Cowboys have any more players make it closer to No. 1 when the next batch rolls around next week.
