The Denver Broncos entered free agency with a little bit of money to spend and a lot of problems to fix. But, no problem bigger than their offensive line.

They addressed the problem with their signing of Ben Powers, the former Baltimore Ravens left tackle.

Per Ian Rapoport, the Broncos are giving offensive guard Ben Powers a four-year, $52 million deal with $28.5 million guaranteed.

He has a $13 million signing bonus, with $28.5 million total guaranteed. The 2023 ($2 million) and 2024 ($12 million) base salaries are fully guaranteed. $30 thousand per game with roster bonuses in 2025 and 2026. $1.5 million of 2025 base ($11.49 million) is guaranteed for injury only at signing, Per Doug Kyed of A to Z Sports.

Here is how the base salary per year breaks down:

2023 salary: $2 million

2024 salary: $12 million

2025 salary: $11.49 million

2026 salary: $11.99 million

The Broncos signed a pretty good deal for one of the better guards in the free agency class, especially when the numbers are broken down.
