We are in that tough spot of the offseason where there is almost nothing going on at all. The Denver Broncos have wrapped up OTAs and mandatory minicamp and there is now a substantial gap between right now and the next thing, which is training camp.
When training camp rolls around, that will basically be the start of the season. Once training camp starts, it's on, and then the next thing is preseason games, which is considered real football, even if it's backups playing.
But first, before we get too far ahead of ourselves, we have to find out the important dates for training camp. And the NFL has already released what days the rookies and veterans are reporting, but now the Broncos have released some good information.
On Twitter, the Broncos released three very important dates. July 26 is the first day of camp; July 27 is Back Together Weekend presented by Ticketmaster; August 16 starts joint practices against the Green Bay Packers.
The Broncos also announced that all practices start at 10 A.M. local time, and practices that do allow fans require a ticket for entry.
Training camp is going to be super fun, and there are a ton of storylines we can look forward to. Of course, the main one will be the quarterback battle along with seeing how good rookie QB Bo Nix is.
Until then, though, we will just have to wait it out.
