If you are reading this then you likely already heard the news early Friday morning. If what we are hearing is true, the Broncos quarterback, Russell Wilson, has some explaining to do.

According to The Athletic, and a collaborative story was written by The Athletic’s Kalyn Kahler, Mike Sando, and Jayson Jenks, Wilson tried to get his former head coach Pete Carroll and former general manager John Schneider fired while he was in Seattle.

How much of it is correct, we don't really know. But, what we do know is it didn't take long for Wilson to issue a statement on it via Twitter.

His statement seems sincere, which it should, even though it is on Twitter of all places. But hey, that is the world we now live in. But Wilson has already had so many things dropped about him in the last few years, it's hard to ignore this report.

We know about the fact Wilson didn't like that he couldn't "cook" all the time in the Seahawks' offense. And we later figured out about the fact that he wanted out of Seattle a while ago. That's just a few of the things we heard while he was in Seattle.

Then he got to Denver, and the rumors didn't necessarily stop. While they were winning, it was quiet. Yes, they went on a little win streak after their loss to the Seahawks in Week 1.

But it felt like once things started to get hard, all of these rumors and reports started to drop on Wilson. For instance, there was the rift between him and Nathaniel Hackett, or the fact that he had his own office and some of his teammates didn't appreciate it.

All sorts of things. Now, this too. You can believe what you want, but just know that the report is he wanted Sean Payton to be Carroll's replacement. He didn't like Hackett, who is no longer there, and Payton was his replacement. You can put two and two together.
