I'll admit it — I thought Green Bay Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander made a mistake this week by calling Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson's big game in week one a "fluke".

Boy was I wrong.

Alexander made the comments earlier in the week about Jefferson's nine receptions for 184 yards and two touchdowns in Minnesota's week one win against Green Bay.

Alexander, however, backed up his comments in the Packers' 41-17 win against the Vikings on Sunday.

Jefferson was limited to one catch for 15 yards in Minnesota's loss.

On one play, Alexander broke up a pass near the sideline that was intended for Jefferson. Immediately after the pass was broken up, Alexander did the "griddy" dance right in front of Jefferson.

In case you're unsure of what's so great about that moment, Jefferson is the player who brought the griddy to a national audience back in 2019 when he was at LSU. The dance was created by a friend of current Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase, who was teammates with Jefferson at LSU.

Jefferson broke the dance out against Texas after scoring his first touchdown of the season and it quickly became a national sensation.

That's why Alexander doing it right in front of Jefferson on Sunday was such a savage and memorable moment.

The Packers are on fire right now and they've got their swagger back. If they make it into the playoffs, the rest of the NFC better watch out. These boys are on a mission.
