The Packers got some news on Saturday night that that surely did not want to get. They will be going into their game without two of their biggest weapons on offense. Both running back Aaron Jones and receiver Christian Watson have been ruled out for Sunday.
As for what to expect for the Packers in terms of replacements, Green Bay will have to go into this game with guys that don't have a lot of experience starting.
At running back, the obvious next choice is AJ Dillon. This will be his sixth career start. Then there's Emanuel Wilson. The second year man hasn't seen a whole lot of regular season action. Sunday will be his first taste.
On the receivers end, look for undrafted rookie Malik Heath to see some targets on Sunday and then, of course, Romeo Doubs will have to lead the group alongside second round pick Jayden Reed.
We'll see how the Packers respond. They'll have a tough outing against a Falcons team that won big against the Carolina Panthers last week and showed that they have a defense that can get some stops.
