The training camp is almost here. On July 17, Green Bay Packers' quarterbacks, rookies, and injured players are slated to report, while other veteran players report on July 22. The Packers released the full practice schedule on Monday, and there's important topics to digest.

Open practice dates

The Packers will have 16 open practices to the fans. They will be on July 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 30, 31, and then August 1, 3, 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, and 22. That calendar includes the Packers Family Night at Lambeau Field on August 3, and a joint practice with the Baltimore Ravens on August 22, ahead of their final preseason game.

This marks Green Bay's 79th training camp, a tradition that began in 1946 under Curly Lambeau. Green Bay will also have two away preseason games, against the Cleveland Browns and Denver Broncos – the team will also have a joint practice in Denver.

Important dates on the preseason calendar:

Wednesday, July 17 – Quarterbacks, rookies and injured players report

Friday, July 19 – Packers 1K Kids Run (kids 10 years old and younger), presented by Scheels, 6 p.m.

Saturday, July 20 – Packers 5K Run/Walk, presented by Bellin Health, Lambeau Field, 8 a.m.

Sunday, July 21 – Veteran players report

Monday, July 22 – First practice (10:30 a.m., Ray Nitschke Field) and Packers Annual Meeting of Shareholders (3 p.m., Lambeau Field)

Saturday, Aug. 3 – Family Night, presented by Bellin Health, Lambeau Field

Thursday, Aug. 22 – Last practice open to public (joint practice with Baltimore), time TBD, Ray Nitschke Field

Should inclement weather or any other factor force the team indoors, practices will be closed to the public due to space limitations inside the Don Hutson Center.

The Packers will open their 2024 regular season in São Paulo on September 6, when they face the Philadelphia Eagles in the first ever NFL game in Brazil.
