Raiders trade TE Darren Waller to the New York Giants
The Raiders are doing crazy things during free agency.
The Las Vegas Raiders are surprising everyone with one of their recent moves. They just got rid of one of their star players, who at one time was considered a superstar.
With all of the signings in free agency the Raiders have done, there hasn't been bigger news than the fact that they just traded Darren Waller, an All-Pro tight end, to the New York Giants.
Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Raiders are trading Darren Waller to the New York Giants for a third-round pick, which is pick No. 100.
That's the same pick the Kansas City Chiefs traded for Kadarius Toney. Essentially, the Raiders traded Waller for Toney.
Per Ian Rapoport, the Raiders have apparently been trying to trade Waller for more than a year, as they tried to package him in the Davante Adams trade.
Things are getting wild in the NFL right now.
