The Las Vegas Raiders, unfortunately, lost their last game of the season, which may be a good thing in terms of draft position but a bad one because it was to a division opponent.

Not to mention the Raiders aren't necessarily going out on a good note, because I'm sure everyone is pissed about the outcome of this game.

But, there is one thing to be proud of, a silver lining, I guess you could say.

The Raiders acquired the best receiver in football this last offseason, and while the winning didn't get better, he still played his tail off, and his end-of-season stats show that.

This is now the third straight season Davante Adams has at least 100 receptions and his second straight season of at least 1,500 receiving yards, which makes the Raiders the fifth team in NFL history with a rusher over 1,500 yards and a receiver over 1,500 yards in the same season.

Those are some crazy stats for a team that finished with just six wins on the year. The Raiders obviously have some issues to fix, on both sides of the ball.

This season was terrible, but I don't think enough can be said about how good Adams was under the circumstances he was under. He was in a completely new system, in a new place on a new team, with a new quarterback, and just about everything else new.

Yet, he was still able to have one of the best seasons from a receiver this year.

If that isn't a silver lining of something to look forward to, I don't know what is.

I mean, think of this. Next season Adams will have a full season under his belt with all of those new things. He will have a full season in McDaniels' system, too.

Fans, I know this season wasn't great, at all really. There were so many expectations heading into this season that just didn't come true, but that doesn't mean there aren't any positives to look at.
