Who knows where the Las Vegas Raiders would be without Maxx Crosby on their team? With him, their defense is still pretty bad overall, so without him, they may be the worst defense in the league, which is saying something if you have seen how bad the Denver Broncos are.
He played his tail off against the Green Bay Packers and had a night for the history books while also making sure the defense couldn't be a reason for a loss if it came down to that. Of course, by the end of the game, it was evident they certainly weren't, with an interception by Amik Robertson.
The Raiders' defense is still suspect, but Crosby makes you feel better about it all. He put on a show on Monday Night Football, along with some other guys on the defense.
"I would say we did that," Crosby said to ESPN's Lisa Salters when asked about the Raiders' defense putting on a show. "This is what I do all year around. I love it. Everything in me. This is what I was born to do. This is great, getting a win for the fans back here in the stadium, man, there is literally nothing better."
The Raiders are lucky to have a guy like Maxx Crosby, who cares as much as he does. No one will outwork him, and no one cares more than he does. He lives, breathes, and sleeps football. All he wants to do is win.
Crosby knows the fans have been patient and upset, but patient. So, he had to give them a shot and a special message since it had been more than three weeks since their last win.
"Everything I do, I feel like I always have to go above and beyond to prove my worth. Every single day I come out here, I try to prove a point. I take it personally in any way. Raider Nation, I love you guys. I appreciate you and all the fans, man, and that was a big win, so we have to keep it rolling."
The Raiders now have two more very winnable games coming up against the New England Patriots and then the Chicago Bears.
