The Las Vegas Raiders went from a playoff team to adding a new coach and even more talent to their roster to winning just six games.

But the Raiders and this new regime knew that would happen. They knew that the team that was in place was never set up to be a long-term playoff team. As a matter of fact, they barely made the playoffs in 2021.

But they were much worse in 2022.

Since then, almost everything has changed. They are putting themselves in a position to be successful for a long time, not just one season. They are doing it in a dramatic fashion, too.

Raiders crazy stat shows how different things are now

According to Tashan Reed, who covers the Raiders for The Athletic, there are only 15 players on the roster now who were with the team when Dave Ziegler and Josh McDaniels took over.

Honestly, that's crazy.

The two of those guys have essentially flipped the roster completely, which doesn't happen often in the league, especially in that short amount of time.

If this whole thing fails, we know who will get most of the blame – the two who have completely changed the way this team looks when they were one in the postseason.
