Raiders, Carr

The Las Vegas Raiders and Derek Carr have been split up for quite some time now. It was, though, a refreshing divorce, to say the least. Both sides mutually agreed to go their separate ways.

But I must say, it feels weird seeing some of these teams salivate at the fact that Carr is a free agent, and it really shows you how much worse the Raiders' quarterback situation could have been.

It's getting worse too, especially for one team in particular, which is telling Carr anything to get him to go there.

So far Carr has visited with the Jets and Saints, and from what we have heard, both visits went well, especially the one in New York.

According to Dianna Russini of ESPN, the Jets told Carr that he had the potential to be not only a Hall of Famer but a first-ballot Hall of Famer if he won in New York.

That should make Raiders fans laugh uncontrollably.

First of all, we all know that likely won't happen, because it's the Jets. The Jets are going to Jets – I think that is the saying. In other words, they will find a way to screw something up. If he couldn't do that in Las Vegas, he can't do it in New York.

But man, they must really want him badly.
