Even Patrick Mahomes couldn't believe that Payton Pritchard sunk that shot at half time during the NBA Finals Game 5.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback is a big Dallas Mavericks fan, having been at a few of their games during the playoff run. So it's no surprise that he's tuning in for the game at TD Garden on Monday night.

Pritchard wasn't on the court for the entire half, but Celtics head coach Joe Mazulla made the ultimate decision to put him in for the final seconds. And that was because he is known for making incredible shots at the buzzer from half-court. And he did it again.

After watching the shot go in, Mahomes had the same reaction as each and every Mavericks fan.

"Bro i hate this dude 😂😂😂😂😂," he posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Pritchard did the exact same thing in Game 2, hitting that exact shot to give the Celtics a 21 point lead at half. This time, he gave Boston a 23 point lead.

On the other side, New England Patriots legend Julian Edelman has not been quiet in his support for the Celtics on their quest for Banner 18. And when Pritchard hit that shot, his reaction was simple but perfect.

"PRITCHARD," Edelman wrote.

The best part of this all was Pritchard had no minutes listed on ESPN, yet still has the made shot.

Going into the game, the Celtics led the Mavericks 3-1 in the series, with a chance to close out the game in front of their home crowd.
