Jones is potentially facing more the 30 years in prison if he were convicted and sentenced on each of the charges he faces, a spokesperson for Suffolk District Attorney's office told the Boston Globe.
The two loaded guns were found in his carry-on luggage and Massachusetts State Police were called to Terminal B when the items were recognized.
Jones is being charged with two counts of each of the following offenses:
– Possession of a concealed weapon in a secure area of an airport.
– Possession of ammunition without a Firearm Identification Card.
– Unlawful possession of a firearm.
– Carrying a loaded firearm.

The Patriots have confirmed that they are aware of the situation, releasing a statement on Friday following the arrest.
“We have been notified that Jack Jones was arrested at Logan Airport earlier today. We are in the process of gathering more information and will not be commenting further at this time,” spokesperson for the Patriots said.
Since the arrest, there has been no further communication from the Patriots or the NFL. However, Matthew Judon has commented via Twitter, standing up for his teammate.
The date of Jones' court appearance is the day prior to the Patriots second preseason game against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.
