The New Orleans Saints recently signed eight players. Five of those players have finalized their jersey numbers with the team. It's not set in stone that they'll be on the 53-man roster to begin they year, but they've got their number locked in regardless.

Check them out below.

  • 54 DE Niko Lalos
  • 82 TE Foster Moreau
  • 89 WR James Washington
  • 91 DE Jabari Zuniga
  • 95 DT Jack Heflin

The most notable of the group would have to be Moreau.

He is wearing the same number that he dawned at Jesuit High School in New Orleans. Moreau is certainly a feel-good story for the Saints, but he will also have a vital role in the offense. Keep an eye on Washington and Heflin as two players that will heavily jockey for a roster spot to open the season.

The Saints have also signed defensive back Adrian Frye, running back Ellis Merriweather, and offensive tackle Scott Lashley. Those players do not have numbers yet.
