The football and sports world stood still on Monday Night when Buffalo Bills defensive back Damar Hamlin needed medical assistance on the field.
It was one of the most terrifying moments in sports history.
The medical work done by the professionals at the field as well as at the hospital was amazing, though. The updates on Hamlin since Monday night have gotten progressively more positive as well.
It's been a whirlwind, but it has also brought every NFL team together.
On social media, many posts have been made in support of Hamlin and the Bills. Additionally, on Twitter, every franchise changed their profile picture to a graphic to show their love for Hamlin.
Today, the New Orleans Saints made a special commitment to show support of the entire situation. It was a move to save future lives.
The Saints are donating 67 automated external defibrillators to local facilities.
It's a heartwarming move by the Saints that will make a difference in the future. For Hamlin, hopefully, the positive updates continue in the coming days.
