UPDATE: The Jets announce that Rodgers is questionable to return with an ankle injury.

The New York Jets suffered quite the scare within the opening minutes of their season opener against the Buffalo Bills.

On Monday night, Aaron Rodgers went down after being sacked by Leonard Floyd. He originally stood up, but immediately sat back down on the ground and trainers rushed over to him.

He was then helped off the field, limping to the sideline and Zach Wilson came in to replaced Rodgers.

Fox Sports' Henry McKenna added that Rodgers was helped into the blue medical tent and has been in there for a few minutes.

And to make matters worse, the ESPN broadcast added that a cart was being brought over to the Jets sideline. He was then shown getting onto the cart.

It appears to be an ankle injury, with Rodgers' questionable to return.

Rodgers signed with the Jets this offseason, with many believing they would be a real Super Bowl contender after years of struggle.

This story will continue to be updated.
