Philadelphia Eagles Pro Bowl left guard Landon Dickerson isn't going anywhere go a long time.

On Monday morning, Dickerson signed a massive four-year extension worth up to $87 million with $50 million guaranteed.

That's a lot of money.

In fact, Dickerson's new contract now makes him the highest-paid guard in the NFL.

Dickerson Plans to Take Care of His Lawn with Massive Payday

Most players would go buy a new car or maybe upgrade their house.

Dickerson? He's going to take care of his lawn with his big payday.

“I don’t know. I may go get a new lawnmower,” Dickerson said this week after making the contract official. “Kinda something I’ve been looking into.”

Dickerson takes a lot of pride in his lawn and even showed it off to fans on Instagram following his contract extension press conference.

"Y'all thought I was playing about my lawn. I take pride in my stripes," Dickerson captioned the photo.

Dickerson was not one of the Eagles' pending free agents this offseason but he was set to enter the final year of his rookie contract.

The Eagles making sure their reliable left guard stays put in Philly makes sense especially after longtime center Jason Kelce retired last week.

And sure Dickerson was excited about the extra spending money he received from the Birds and he's extremely grateful, but a big payday or not, he had no plans to leave Philadelphia.

“I didn’t tell Howie that, though,” Dickerson joked with reporters. “It just shows a lot of respect and how much trust they have in me to continue to grow as a player and develop and do good things for this team and this city.”
