The Philadelphia Eagles are locking in left tackle Jordan Mailata 

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Eagles and Mailata had reached a three-year, $66 million extension that includes $48 million guaranteed. There's also a $20 million signing bonus. 

Mailata's new deal ties to Philadelphia through the 2028 NFL season.

Mailata, 27, has been as durable as they come when it comes to protecting quarterback Jalen Hurts' blindside and he was the only offensive lineman to play 100 percent of the team's regular-season offensive snaps last year.

He will enter his seventh season with the Birds in 2024 since they selected him in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL draft.

Mailata rightfully so now sits amongst the NFL’s highest-paid offensive tackles: Houston Texans' Laremy Tunsil, San Francisco 49ers' Trent Williams and New York Giants' Andrew Thomas.
