Eagles, Sanders

As of late, Miles Sanders has entered himself into the conversation of one of the better running backs in the league. That isn't the only elite company he has joined, though.

His recent play has been getting everyone's attention. Even comedian Adam Sandler is starting to take notice, but that was because of a movie reference Sanders made, but I digress.

The Philadelphia Eagles are the premier rushing team in football, and it's because of their quarterback Jalen Hurts, who does it all, and Sanders who is having a career season, so much so, he has now joined an elite company.

Sanders now has 10 touchdowns on the season, which is his career high of course. The last time that was done by an Eagles' running back was in 2011 by LeSean McCoy. Only three other players have done so.

In 2021 Jalen Hurts had 10 rushing touchdowns. In 1995 and 1996 Ricky Watters did it, and in 1974 Tom Sulivan did it, which not only would put Sanders as the fifth Eagle to rush for ten but put him in some pretty elite company.

I'd say it may be time to pay the man, but that's just my opinion.
