Though the Super Bowl is looming, and the Philadelphia Eagles will have to gameplan for the death star that is the Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes, Shane Steichen won't get a chance to rest.

Philadelphia's offensive coordinator will conduct his second interview with the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday, according to the latest report from Adam Schefter.

Steichen was named one of seven finalists after he has shown off his abilities to upgrade an offense this season.

Under Steichen, the Eagles' offense has exploded into of the most dangerous units in the NFL. Jalen Hurts, the often criticized quarterback, has turned into a legitimate MVP candidate with Steichen assuming playcalling duties.

This season, Steichen helped guide Hurts to a season that saw him throw for 3,701 yards (10th in the NFL), 22 touchdowns (14th), and a 66.3 QBR (fourth in the NFL).

Steichen has also pushed Eagles running back Miles Sanders into elite territory. Sanders ran for 1,296 yards in the 2023 season, finishing fifth in the league. He also finished eight in rushing attempts with 259.

It's no surprise that Steichen is a finalist for the Colts' position — he's proven that he is one of the great football minds in the NFL.
