Many of you probably remember the viral clip of Pittsburgh Steelers HC Mike Tomlin and Chase Young.

Tomlin acknowledged how good Young was but said he would never get a player of his ilk because he would never pick that high.

Well, the Steelers are once again in the 20s in terms of draft selection, but the latest report points to a world where that doesn't stay the same on draft night:

Pittsburgh Steelers Formaly Meet With Washington WR Rome Odunze

"So let's look at some of the teams he met with," NFL insider Ian Rapoport said on NFL Network on Saturday. "The Patriots, the Cardinals, the Giants, the Titans and the Bears are among the intriguing one for me because those are the top ten teams. Also spent some time with the Colts, the Jaguars, the Rams and the Steelers. And the reason why those are interesting is; those would be potential trade up teams. Rarely do you see a huge trade up for a receiver, but not never. Obviously, that is something to keep an eye on."

Now this could be the Steelers just doing their due diligence, but the report bucks the trend of Pittsburgh's draft habits for multiple reasons.

For one, it’s been 18 years since the team took a WR in the first round (Santonio Holmes).

On top of that, Pittsburgh rarely has formal interviews with players that are "out of striking range" something Odunze certainly is when analyzing the mock draft consensus board, and thoughts from NFL teams.

So I wouldn't say this is nothing. I would still be surprised if Pittsburgh took a WR in round one, and even more surprised if they traded up for one.

But they knew this info was going to get out and are certainly ok with it, leaving you wondering what the Steelers have up their sleeves.
