The Tennessee Titans finished out the 2023 season last in the AFC South with an abysmal 6-11 overall record, and many are skeptical of how the team will perform in 2024.

One player who has been met with mixed opinions is quarterback Will Levis, who completed 58.4% of his passes for 1,808 yards with 8 touchdowns and 4 interceptions.

He recently spoke with the Nashville media on the outside noise from doubters, which he says he doesn't pay a great deal of attention to.

"I used to be someone who would take that stuff and kind of use it to fuel me, but my only source of motivation is internal. I'm not going to let anyone else's opinions define (me). They can say what they want and we're going to go out there on Sundays and do our best."

Levis and the team as a whole will have to make several improvements including but not at all limited to quarterback play in order to flip the script and end off 2024 on a much more positive note, but it's important to note that this is not at all the same team as it was last year as the Brian Callahan era begins.

One thing to watch specifically will be a new-look backfield after Derrick Henry was such a force there before he joined the Baltimore Ravens after the team parted ways with head coach Mike Vrabel.

But Callahan seems optimistic about what Tyjae Spears and Tony Pollard and what can be done there.

“I can’t wait to start playing around and using them in different ways because they both do things differently, they’re unique,” Callahan said, via Turron Davenport of ESPN.com. “I’m excited about the style that we can run with. We can do a lot of different things.”

It will be interesting to see how it all comes together when the Titans kick off the season against the Chicago Bears on Sept. 8.
