The Buffalo Bills will host the Tennessee Titans on the early portion of Monday Night’s doubleheader. However, Gabe Davis won’t be a part of those players suiting up.

The Bills’ wide receiver was a late addition to the injury report on Saturday when he was listed as a limited participant with an ankle injury. Now, it’s been reported Josh Allen’s secondary wide receiver won’t be playing in the primetime showdown.

Jeremy Fowler from ESPN made it official before the Bills’ inactive were made official on gameday.

This potentially opens the door for WR Khalil Shakir to make his NFL debut. The rookie wide receiver and supposed punt returner was a surprise healthy scratch for the Bills in Week 1.

This calls for a big opportunity for Isaiah McKenzie and Jamison Crowder, who appear to be splitting time out of the slot in Ken Dorsey’s offense.
