Buffalo Bills’ edge rusher Von Miller was ruled out in the second quarter of Thursday’s game versus the Detroit Lions.

Per Tracy Wolfson from the CBS Broadcast, Miller suffered a knee injury.

Obviously, this is a major blow to the Bills’ defense that will have everyone nervous about the state of the team moving forward. Especially considering how quickly Miller was ruled out.

The injury to the Bills’ superstar adds another log to the fire around the turf field debate, as Odell Beckham Jr. sent another tweet against such playing fields.

For now, the main concern for Buffalo is getting out of Thanksgiving with a win.

The Lions put up a fight in the first half and have turned this into a close game by heading into halftime down by three against the Bills. That’s big considering they entered the game as nine-point underdogs.

The Bills have missed LB Tremaine Edmunds on this game in the run and passing game and losing the team’s elite pass rusher won’t help either.
