It only took one game for the Buffalo Bills to make one of the most well-known sports personalities in the country look foolish.
Former ESPN Sportscenter anchor Trey Wingo, who currently hosts a show on his YouTube channel, indicated just before Buffalo kicked off against the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday night that he had some doubt about the Bills in 2022.
Wingo pointed out that Buffalo was only 2-4 against teams that made the playoffs last season.
For a good reason a lot of people are on @BuffaloBills this season. But remember: The Bills last season were just 2-4 against teams that made the playoffs in 2021. Will need to improve if they want the AFC to go through Buffalo— trey wingo (@wingoz) September 8, 2022
I feel like the Bills saw that tweet and went full Michael Jordan “and-I-took-that-personally”.

Buffalo looked like they were in a completely different class than the Rams on Thursday night.
Bills quarterback Josh Allen didn’t play perfect — he threw two interceptions while passing for 297 yards and three touchdowns — but he was more than good enough in Buffalo’s 31-10 shellacking of the Rams.
As for Wingo’s comment?
Well, I think the Bills made quite a statement on Thursday night in Los Angeles. Sure, there’s a lot of season left to play. But the Bills’ dismantling of the defending Super Bowl champions should leave no doubt that Buffalo is the team to beat in the AFC this season.
