Road To Canton

Hester was determined to be a finalist after the Hall of Fame’s Selection Committee whittled down its list of 28 semi-finalists. However, there’s still work left to do before the NFL’s best return man in its history is to be enshrined in Canton, Ohio.

The Selection Committee’s next step in this process is to trim down its list of finalists to 10 and then to five. From there, finalists must receive 80 percent of the votes required for enshrinement.

The Bears lead the NFL with 30 Hall of Famers. The 2023 class is set to be announced on Feb 9. Ahead of Super Bowl LVII. The class will then be recognized in Canton, Ohio in August of 2023.
