Pro Football Focus recently named one final trade/free agent signing that each NFL team should make this summer and they think the Chicago Bears should sign a veteran wide receiver.

Specifically, PFF thinks the Bears should sign wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders.

From PFF:

The Bears are dead last in Ben Linsey’s wide receiver corps rankings. Sanders is no longer in the prime of his career at 35 years old, but he would help solidify the unit for second-year quarterback Justin Fields.

There’s no doubt the Bears need to add a wide receiver to their roster.

As of right now, Darnell Mooney is the only wide receiver that quarterback Justin Fields can truly count on in 2022.

Chicago is hoping that rookie wide receiver Velus Jones Jr can be a big contributor this upcoming season, but that’s far from a sure thing.

Signing Sanders certainly wouldn’t be a flashy move — his best days are behind him. But it would give the Bears a veteran presence that could help Fields as he enters his second season in the NFL.

Sanders, who won a Super Bowl with the Denver Broncos in 2015, played for the Buffalo Bills last season and caught 42 passes for 626 yards and four touchdowns. That’s likely the type of production Bears fans could expect if Chicago elected to sign Sanders.
