Cincinnati Bengals rookie defensive back Cam Taylor-Britt threw some major shade at Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs on Monday.

And he was absolutely right.

Taylor-Britt was asked about guarding Diggs during Cincinnati’s 27-10 win against the Bills.

And his answer will likely make Bengals fans smile.

“Honestly, just play my game and be physical because the physical guy that I am, he’s a receiver that doesn’t like that stuff,” said Taylor-Britt. “I wanted to keep putting hands on him at all times. Just kind of rattle him a little bit. He gets a little frustrated here and there. I wouldn’t say get in his head but get out of his game. Just wanted to play a complete football game and play sound, play within the defense, hold my leverages whenever I was guarding him.”

“Be physical,” added Taylor-Britt when asked how the Bengals took away Buffalo’s best receiving threat. “They don’t like that. [Their] receivers are soft.”

Diggs has been one of the best players in the NFL for the last five seasons. And Cincinnati’s rookie cornerback helped to completely shut him down in Buffalo’s biggest game of the year (four receptions for 35 yards on 10 targets).

And based on Diggs’ response — the sulking and firing off tweets — Taylor-Britt’s description of Diggs as “Soft” is accurate.

The Bengals have a DOG in Taylor-Britt. He has the skills to be an elite cornerback and he just proved on a massive stage that he has what it takes mentally to perform in the sport’s biggest games.
