The Cincinnati Bengals finally got their first win of the 2022 season in Week 3 against the New York Jets.

Their reward? A Thursday Night Football matchup against the red-hot Miami Dolphins.

Well, at least the game is at Paycor Stadium.

The Bengals were also hoping for another break in the form of Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa’s absence, but according to NFL Network‘s Tom Pelissero, the Bengals won’t catch that break on Thursday. Tagovailoa is expected to play barring a setback.

Dolphins starting left tackle Terron Armstead and wideout Jaylen Waddle are also expected to play.

Tagovailoa is off to a great start through the first three games of the season. And while teams always want to compete against the best, it’s hard to sit here and say the Bengals would rather face Tagovailoa than Teddy Bridgewater.

Even though the Bengals chances at getting to .500 just got a lot harder, at least those watching will be treated to a showdown between two of the NFL’s best quarterbacks, currently.
