Cincinnati Bengals football has entered a new era after the franchise’s first playoff win and Super Bowl appearance in 30+ years.

But that’s not the only change heading into 2022. The Bengals announced they will change their stadium name from Paul Brown Stadium to Paycor Stadium.

Per the team’s website, Bengals.com, Paycor is “a cornerstone partner of the Bengals, and has served as the team’s official and exclusive HR software provider since 2018”. The decision to rename the stadium has been in the works for a while, now, and comes on the heels of the Pittsburgh Steelers‘ recent decision to change Heinz Field to Acrisure Stadium.

Paul Brown Stadium became the official name of the Bengals stadium in 2000 after the franchise played at Riverfront Stadium for nearly 30 years. There won’t be an actual change in venue, this time around, however.
