When it rains it pours. As the Cincinnati Bengals focus on solving their big pass protection problem, they might be without a key piece on gameday.

Offensive tackle La’el Collins missed practice for the second consecutive game for the Bengals. He’s been listed in the injury report with a back injury.

Collins is off to a rough start with the Bengals after signing a $21M contract in the offseason. To be fair, his first two opponents have been T.J. Watt and Micah Parsons while he had to deal with an offseason injury.

According to Pro Football Focus, he’s allowed six pressures and one sack in 117 pass-blocking snaps.

The Bengals certainly hope to see him bounce back after a rough couple of weeks but his missing practice is certainly not ideal. Especially when he had to deal with an off-season injury to his back.
