Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has a namesake at the Cincinnati Zoo.
Burrow had a penguin named after him. The zoo named the penguin “Cup O’ Joe Burrow” earlier this winter.

Over the weekend, Burrow’s teammate, defensive end Trey Hendrickson, visited the Cincinnati Zoo with his wife and enjoyed some time with the penguin.

I’m sure this won’t be the last animal named after Burrow if he keeps playing at a high level.
Right now, Burrow might be the most popular man in the state of Ohio. And if he reaches his potential — plenty of folks think he has Tom Brady-like potential — he could end up having the zoo named after him instead of just a penguin.
If Burrow ends up bringing a Super Bowl trophy to Cincy, there’s no telling what will be named after him in the city.
