It goes without saying at this point that Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is one of the best players in the AFC.

But where does he rank among a loaded roster of AFC quarterbacks?

According to FanDuel, Burrow is the third-best quarterback in the AFC, behind Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen.

I think this is a fair ranking, though there’s definitely an argument to be made for Burrow to be ranked above Allen (I’m not sure how they justified putting Allen over Mahomes).

Burrow took the NFL by storm last season, but he still has a lot to prove as a quarterback.

I  think Burrow is going to soon be on a Hall of Fame trajectory. He has the “it” factor that is extremely rare in quarterbacks (former NFL quarterback Jordan Palmer recently compared Burrow to Tom Brady).

However, we still have to see it in multiple years from Burrow before he can fairly be placed at the top of the AFC quarterback power rankings.

As long as Burrow stays healthy, the 2022 season could be what cements the former LSU standout as the best quarterback in the AFC.
