The Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos have years and years worth of rivalry piled up. Most of them are competitive, too. However, these last six years or so it seems to have been dominated by the Chiefs because it has.

The Broncos have yet to beat the Chiefs in 13 straight tries. Yes, you read that right. The Broncos last beat the Chiefs in 2015, which seems like an eternity ago.

On Sunday though, everyone will predict the Chiefs to win, as they should. However, the Broncos have a chance to crash a party the Chiefs would be the only one at.

If the Chiefs win this Sunday, and the Los Angeles Chargers lose to the Miami Dolphins, the Chiefs will have clinched first place in the AFC West, which also means the first team to clinch the playoffs.

That’s huge, and honestly, the Chiefs have been great this year. However, could you imagine being the team that prevents your biggest rival from doing so, and it being the first win against them in that long?

The Broncos have not been great at all this year. In fact, they have been one of the worst teams in the league, and a huge disappointment. Beating the Chiefs on Sunday would be the highlight of the season.

The Broncos have a chance to be the team that ruins the fun, but in a good way.
