The Denver Broncos just cannot catch a break this year when it comes to unfortunate things happening to their roster.

This week, it’s Justin Simmons not playing on Sunday.

The former All-Pro safety won’t play Sunday, as the news broke late Saturday night that he has been dealing with a knee issue.

Now, because of Caden Sterns being on the injured reserve list as well, P.J. Locke will get the start on Sunday.

Simmons missed Weeks 2-5 as he was on the injured reserve list dealing with a quad injury.

Most of the week heading into this matchup, the talk of the town was about how the Titans would be missing some key players like Bud Dupree and Jeff Simmons. Well, they aren’t the only team in this matchup to have some guys out.

Not only do the Broncos now have Simmons out, but also have Ronald Darby, Randy Gregory, and Baron Browning out as well. In a way, the matchup is kind of even in that aspect.
